World of Tanks Blitz, a team vs team tank game, is a fast paced multiplayer game that can be
played on mobile devises, PC, and Nintendo Switch™. fourteen players are split between two
teams and fight in seven minute battles until one team is victorious and the other is defeated.
The use of tactics, different tank types, and many maps to fight on make each battle dynamic and
different from the last.
Peek-a-Boom
A peek-a-boom is exposing your tank just long enough to fire and then returning to cover to
reload. It is especially effective for high caliber guns because of their high damage per shot.
Hull Down
A hull down tank has its strongest frontal armor facing enemy fire while weaker armor is hidden
behind cover or a ridge line. This presents a smaller target that is harder to penetrate.
Flanking
Flanking is manuvering across the map to attack the vunerable sides and rear of enemy tanks. It is
effective because it can put the enemy in a crossfire. Unable to face two or more directions of
attack simultaneously, a tank in a crossfire can quickly be destroyed.
Circling
Circling is manuvering around a tank to avoid it's gun as it turns. A fast enough tank could easily
out-manuver a slower one's gun if the tank is caught in the open. Even if the conditions arn't
optimal, be it not enough space to circle a tank completely or the mobility disparity is not good
enough, atempting to circle an enemy tank can delay an inevitable shot for a crucial few seconds.
The game has over 400 different tanks, all of which are one of four types. Each group has a set of
characteristics that, with some exceptions, apply to the tanks in it.
The game has a total of thirty maps and is unique. The teams start on oposite ends of the map. All
of the maps are roughly semetrical, with the dividing line being between the starting locations.
